TitlePilot allows for full customization of your text. It comes with two text generators – one called “Build On” and the other called “Fly By.” The “Build On” generator allows your text to basically fly onto the screen and stay on the screen. The “Fly By” generator allows your text to fly on and off the screen.

There are seven different pre-made paths to choose from. If you’re not a fan of any of those you can also make your own custom path (which is a very powerful tool). You can even create a 3D style text! That’s actually really cool.

I tried TitlePilot out for a quick project I was working on and was actually blown away with the amount of tools I was given. I created a decent-looking title in about 2 minutes.

Overall I really like this plugin from SquidFX. I wasn’t expecting it to be as powerful as it is. You have full control over everything and even choose a “Text FX” (as shown in the screenshot above).
